I have often wondered why José Muñoz never wrote about Reza Abdoh. Now, both have passed too early, and that dialogue is left in the heads of those of us left behind. These two brown queers destroyed by different iterations of biomedical neglect, fast and slow death, haunt the present of queer theory and performance in the Americas.
