This work sought to identify the relationship between Resilience, Coping, Social Skills and Problem Solving and compare the constructs in Psychology students with other students from other areas of Human Sciences. A total of 816 university students from public and private institutions in the State of Rio de Janeiro participated, with ages ranging from 17 to 44 years. The instruments used were the Social Skills Inventory, the Problem Coping Modes Scale, the Resilience Scale for Adults and the Problem Solving Skills Scale. The results obtained revealed differences between the student groups in terms of HS deficits and the positive correlation between the Coping Scale and the Problem Solving Skills Scale. These data contribute to the initiative to adjust the teaching program aimed at the development of social interaction skills involved and required in the training of the future psychologist.
