Swiss Energy Governance

In 2014, the Swiss Confederation established the Swiss Competence Center for
Research in Energy, Society and Transition to respond to important challenges posed by the Swiss energy transition, envisaged by the so-called “Energy Strategy 2050”. It was only in 2017 that 55 researchers within SCCER CREST decided to form a specific work package dealing with energy governance. The work package aims at identifying and providing recommendations to overcome governance challenges, thereby making energy governance more effective, efficient, and transparent.
The researchers seek to achieve impact by scientific analysis, by the provision of data or legal recommendations on governance arrangements as well as by the active.
