During the war, and in the post-war reality, the "friend-foe" juxtaposition based on national divisions often deprives dead "enemies" of the right to mourn. To mourn disfellowshipped others in times like these means breaking with this opposition. The author of the article analyzes two cases of crossing the "friend-foe" opposition in the context of the civil war in Yugoslavia - the activity of the Women in Black group and the Dah theater.
