At present, the research works on joint implant materials wear and corrosion in the human body are not clear, especially for their coupling actions. In this work, the tribo-corrosion behaviours of CoCrMo, Ti6Al4V and Ti15Mo alloys were investigated separately in simulated body fluid (SBF). The synergistic wear-corrosion interaction phenomenon during the process was clarified.
